Biographical Info

David Chu is one of the new ultrasound faculty members in the Department of Emergency Medicine at NYP Weill Cornell Medical Center and NYP Brooklyn Methodist. He was born and raised in California, then gradually moved across the country as he completed undergrad at UC Berkeley, medical school at Oakland University/Beaumont in Michigan, Emergency Medicine Residency at New York-Presbyterian Columbia & Cornell, where he served as Chief Resident, and Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship at Harvard Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Within ultrasound, David’s interests are in artificial intelligence and investigating the use of ultrasound as a clinical prognostic tool. David is excited to return to where he did residency, to collaborate with old colleagues and friends!
